Voicebrook provides comprehensive training designed specifically for new users of our VoiceOver PRO pathology reporting solution.
At pathology labs across the country, summer marks a season of change. From June through August, a new cohort of residents and fellows arrives, ready to learn, contribute—and get up to speed fast. At Voicebrook, we call this time of year Resident Season, and we’re here to help your incoming trainees hit the ground running with VoiceOver PRO.
We know this is a busy time for you. Training new pathology residents involves a mountain of preparation: lab protocols, grossing procedures, equipment, security credentials, and so much more. While we can’t lighten your whole load, we can ensure your residents are fully prepared to use VoiceOver PRO in the lab confidently and correctly from day one.
VoiceOver PRO Training: What to Expect
Voicebrook provides comprehensive training designed specifically for new users of our VoiceOver PRO pathology reporting solution. Our sessions go far beyond the basics—we help users get familiar with dictation workflows, navigate features with voice commands, and create accurate, complete reports using customizable templates.
Each session is tailored to your lab’s workflow and every resident’s individual learning needs.
Core Training Topics Include:
- Feature & Function Overviews
- Toolbar Navigation & Microphone Calibration
- Voice Command Tips & Tricks
- Report Builder & CAP Checklists
- Sample Dictation & Recognition Tools
- Personalized Workflow Review
- Vocabulary Customization & Troubleshooting
And because no two users learn the same way, our trainers adapt each session based on your team’s experience level and workflow requirements.
How Remote Training Works
Remote training is simple, flexible, and designed for your convenience. Once you schedule your session, we'll send a follow-up with everything your trainees need to prepare. Our standard sessions last about two hours and are typically conducted over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. No webcam required—but we do ask that you share your screen!
Before training, make sure trainees have access to:
- The training meeting link
- VBShare directory (with read/write access)
- Your AP/LIS system
- A VoiceOver-installed computer and microphone
- A few sample cases for practice
Why Early Scheduling Matters
Resident Season training fills up fast. Booking early allows us to align with your lab’s onboarding schedule, assign the right trainers, and work with your IT team to make sure all systems and hardware are ready to go. Early scheduling also helps us minimize workflow disruptions—so you can focus on patient care, not software setup.
Clients can visit our Voicebrook Success Community to request resident training. Simply open a training case in the Community, and our team will respond promptly to get you set up!
