Keep Dragon Medical One. Add the pathology layer on top.
Most health systems have already standardized on Dragon Medical One (Nuance / Microsoft) for enterprise clinical speech recognition. VoiceOver PRO is the pathology-specific reporting workflow layer that sits above DMO. Your DMO speech profiles, your enterprise licensing, your IT relationship — all preserved. PRO uses DMO's recognition output and adds the pathology workflow.
- Speech-to-text across all clinical departments
- General clinical vocabulary
- User speech-profile adaptation over time
- Enterprise IT-managed licensing
- Structured templates + field validation
- CAP eCP cancer protocol automation
- Hands-free grossing-room workflow
- AP system integration (Epic Beaker + 20 more)
Your DMO investment is preserved.
DMO SpeechKit included
The DMO Integration & SpeechKit subscription is included in VoiceOver PRO at no additional cost. No double-paying for speech recognition.
No re-enrollment
Your pathologists' existing DMO speech profiles carry forward. Speech adaptation continues to improve from day one.
Dragon Copilot ready
Microsoft Dragon Copilot support is on our roadmap. When you move, the pathology workflow doesn't move with it — it stays stable.
Common questions
Does VoiceOver PRO replace Dragon Medical One?
No. VoiceOver PRO uses DMO as the underlying speech recognition engine in most deployments. DMO continues to handle dictation; VoiceOver PRO adds the pathology workflow layer on top — structured templates, CAP eCP validation, grossing-room workflow, and deep AP system integration (Epic Beaker, Cerner CoPathPlus, PowerPath, and 20+ others). We don't compete with DMO; we sit on top of it.
Do I need to pay for DMO separately if I use VoiceOver PRO?
The DMO Integration & SpeechKit subscription is included in VoiceOver PRO at no additional cost where DMO is the underlying engine. Your existing DMO investment is preserved — there's no double-paying.
What if our IT team decides to switch to Solventum Fluency or Dragon Copilot later?
VoiceOver PRO is engine-flexible by design. Solventum Fluency support is already available, and Dragon Copilot support is planned for when Microsoft ships it. Switching the underlying speech engine doesn't require rebuilding the pathology reporting workflow.
Does VoiceOver PRO use DMO's pathology vocabulary?
VoiceOver PRO uses DMO's general clinical speech recognition engine, but our implementation team customizes a pathology-specific vocabulary tuned to your lab's case types, cassette formats, accession series, and site-specific terminology before go-live. This vocabulary tuning is part of the standard Build phase.
Will pathologists need to re-enroll their DMO speech profiles?
No. VoiceOver PRO uses your existing DMO licenses through the included SpeechKit integration, which means user speech adaptation continues to improve from day one rather than requiring re-enrollment.
